‘Trees’ by Devereaux Frazier

Trees

Leaves

Breeze

This high I have inside me

Bees

Bugs

Birds

Listening to never ending words

As I stare into the high

Clouds and white sky

Surround me

As I close my eyes

I forget every lie

That’s ever been told

Life is so fast

But listen to her, and alas

The pain is in the past

She can never silenced

Her voice always loud

Just stop and listen

Take solace in her sound
